Dr. Paris Abedi’s Ophthalmology practice specializes in cataract and advanced cosmetic and reconstructive ocuplastic surgery. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology as an Ophthalmic Surgeon. She has several years of experience, thousands of successful surgeries, and a succession of advancements into cutting-edge technologies implemented to improve her patients' results.
Dr. Abedi received her undergraduate degree and the University of California at Los Angeles and graduated magna cum laude. She received her ophthalmology training from the University of California at San Diego as well as a masters degree in Neurosciences from the University of California at Irvine. At UCLA she was greatly involved in comprehensive glaucoma research at the Jules Stein Eye Institute. Dr. Abedi graduated with honors from the University of California at Irvine, College of Medicine.
She possesses a varying set of interests in ophthalmology with special interests in advanced reconstructive and cosmetic eyelid surgery. She is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and was also elected to America's Top Doctors in 2005 and America's Top Ophthalmologists in 2007.
